Allow yourself to Change

Romans 12:2.

 says “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect”

Many times I've heard people say, "It's easy to Change”, but actually it’s not! Allow me to begin this way: Sometimes, we don’t want to change because of fear. Sometimes we fear because we are receiving a whole new life(Zoe).

And believe me, the devil knows that if you stay in the same position he will easily control you; so he makes you feel ok with resisting change. This is actually why most people are fine with doing what they used to do.

 Most people are fine with going to places they used to go to, hanging out with friends they used to hang out with and so on. And yes, they are Christians but they didn’t really change. Therefore, change is good and God wants us to change having become his sons and daughters through Christ Jesus, we can't remain the same! But this change comes with a certain knowledge, which is the knowledge of God (Epignosis).

And remember this, that faith is simply believing in the knowledge of God which comes by the word of God...

This explains why people(Christians) are not actually changing even after having received this knowledge of God: the reason for this is simply because they are not investing in knowing God.

As we had said earlier, with knowledge comes change.

They fear changing because they don’t have faith (they don't believe in the knowledge of God).

 And faith comes by knowledge and that knowledge is by spending time with the word.

This explains why those Christians who don’t spend enough time with the Word of God eventually stay the same.

So it’s time to change our settings; It’s time to un-learn what we knew to learn new things.

It’s time to embrace the Word and live by it!

That’s the only way change will come.

So remember this, that change is okay and is worth it!

Change comes by giving yourself to the word, and this change should be visible. Don’t read the word for yourself only but also read for others.

Go beyond looking for your change and change the whole world.

Change is Godly.
