God has never asked you for anything.
There is simply nothing you can ever offer to God equivalent to what He has done for you!
Here is why
we allude to this truth. In John 3:16 God offered Christ as a sacrifice for our
sins. He then goes on to tell us that whoever believes on him receives His life
then starts to actually live.
In short, the life you have today after having
received Christ is not yours but God's life. This explains why in His word he
requires us to be faithful stewards by being responsible and accountable to Him
of what we did with the great life placed in us.
God owns the
life you have now in reality because when you received Christ you died and
Christ reigned and still does in you.
Another
reason why God doesn't need anything from you was expressed in God's word when
God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac.
We see that
before God requested Abraham to sacrifice his son, he first killed anything
that would show that Isaac was received in the ability of Abraham and Sarah
(their age).
The age at
which Abraham and Sarah had Isaac, science proves that it was not possible for
them to have children since their bodies were literally way to old to process
child bearing.
Also, the
name Isaac means laughter which means that Isaac brought laughter in Sarah's
life; because it was beyond impossible to give birth at their age according to
science !
So then, God
can only ask for what he has offered. God can never ask for what he has not
offered.
Therefore,
God’s mind is to make things easy for human beings by only asking them for what
he has already offered meaning the life you have is not yours but God’s.
Therefore,
live in the way God wants you to because it is His life you are living.
You can only
offer what God has already offered.
What he only asks you is to give him back what
He has already given you. How?! As Abraham did, he gave back what he was given.
Just be
obedient and give him back simple as that which He gave you! That is why giving
should be simple to do, why? It's God in you giving through you what He already
provided...
