It’s not about you.

Today, I would like to speak to a Christian who may be thinking that "it’s about him".

Let me start this way; the day you received Christ in your life as your Lord and savior, marked the day when everything about you changed! (2 Corinthians 5:17) Funny thing is, you may not be seeing that change now; but hey, that doesn't mean it is not true!

 So allow me to show you how things actually changed.

Paul the Apostle understood a certain truth that I want to share with you today;

this is found in Galatians 2:20 which says: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Christ didn't simply send someone to come on His behalf and die for you and I, no; instead He actually came by Himself and gave up his life for us!

What does this tell us? That even today Christ wants to be the one working and moving in our lives, not somebody else taking His place! He wants to be that wonder working power in you that does the miracles which men see in your life and around you, because only then will it be of God.

How then does this come about?! How does one allow Christ to reign in their life?

And the answer is this simple, Faith!

It is by faith that one leans on and submits themselves unto Christ to be the one leading and them simply following.

When you received Christ, your Identity changed! Why? You took on Christ's form.

Meaning, what makes you different after receiving Christ in your life is not what you do henceforth because you received Him but rather, it is what Christ does in and through you!

The issue is, that whenever you think that you can do something in your own ability, you disqualify God! Because God deals with you from a Faith perspective.

What does this mean? Anything you dare to do without(outside) Faith disqualifies God's ability in your life.

God can only be manifested in your life through faith.

Do you want to see God doing mighty things in your life? Here is what to do; die to yourself so that you may live by the Faith of the son!

You may be wondering how one can die to the self and here is how it happens.

 Dying to one's self is simply giving yourself to the word of God to be able to live and function by it.

And in Romans 10:17 we get to understand that it is by the hearing of this word that Faith comes about! Faith allows Christ to start to work(function) in your life.

It unleashes God's ability to conduct your life!

Faith is simply Christ’s life in us manifested through us.

This is the medium by which Christ gets to multiply Himself in as many as are which believe in Christ! Christ is pleased to see many like him on earth because then only is when He can start to function and influence on earth.

This means that if you haven't taken the form of Christ which comes through faith, you can't show Him forth!

This tells us something; You may actually be the one keeping God from manifesting in your life as He ought to all because you lack Faith! God deals with you depending on how far you are willing to believe Him (His word).

 God could only send God to fulfil his mission on earth because He wants to see himself in every Christian. That's what pleases Him!

Therefore, I want you to stop thinking that you are normal if you are born again. That is why you are called born- again; you are born a new, meaning everything about you is new; behold the old has passed away! (2 Corinthians 5:7)

And also never think that this newness comes by your ability but rather by the power of the Word; Christ in you the hope of Glory!

 Begin to let Christ manifest in your life through faith.

God doesn’t not use normal people: God uses people of faith.

Faith makes you an extra-ordinary person!

Therefore, saints, always remember this;

It’s not about you.

 It’s about Christ!
