My Letter to You!

Beloved Christian,

I hope this letter finds you well, because that's just how you ought to be.

Am your brother in Christ and am so very privileged to write this letter to you.

And in this letter I will talk about two main things; God's love for humanity and the Faith of Christ in you which you received when you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior through believing.

First, I would like to remind you something really important; that there is simply nothing you can possibly do to win God's heart in your own terms or with your efforts! You cannot please God by self-righteousness because it's just as filthy rags to God. So question is, how can one capture God's total attention? How can one afford to please God in an effortless way? The answer is this: “Cultivate a Relationship with God!" And how does one enter a relationship with God? It is through believing on the one whom He sent to set us free from sin! Believing that Christ finished it all for those who believe in Him to walk in what He accomplished for them without having to struggle again for the same. Because to God what is principle is relating with Him by His word which lives in you when you get born again; when you are in a relationship with God, the rest follows you because for who else would He have finished the works for if not for you and I to enjoy them? That is just what everyone who is in a relationship does for those they love; they work for them! They don't want to see them suffer. That explains what our Lord did at the cross and afterwards said: “It’s finished!" Learn to walk in the finished works of our Lord child of God!

 In Hebrews 11:3 which says: "By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible". By this you understand that Faith is a great deal important to God! It is only Faith that we need to please God; when He is pleased because you believe He is (Hebrews 11:6), you enter into His Rest. Why do you rest? Because you are simply receiving what Christ has finished for them to gladly enjoy! What am I trying to tell you here? There is simply nothing you need to do right now that Christ didn't finish for you. Enter the rest of God by simply believing in Christ! For it is by Faith that we access the finished works of our Lord! And it's by believing that we receive the promises provided by the word of God and thereby accessing the finished works of our Lord.

I would like to you to also know carry this in your mind: “You are a God being; not a God doing. “What does this tell you? That when you got born again, you seized to be a Human being whom God just visits and leaves but rather the one whom God dwells in, because His spirit lives in you! You are a God-Carrier! You are born of God. You are a Child of God! So when you do, it is God working in you both to will and to do according to His good pleasure. Halleluiah!

 

Let’s see what John 3:16 says, a common scripture right? It reads: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”. In this scripture, notice that there is a word that says "believes". I want you to replace it with the word” FAITH”. This then reads;"... he who doesn’t have faith in Jesus Christ is perishing". Now this Faith/believing we are talking about in this scripture, it applies to every aspect of your life; to your finances, marriage, business and everything. That is why the bible says: "The just shall live by Faith." It means we live by believing. The day you stop believing is the day you die. For example, if He tells you in His word that you shouldn’t worry about anything in life and then you worry, it only be means you are perishing because you are not believing in him. The only way you can receive the Eternal life is by believing on him; and mind you that Eternal life is not only received and enjoyed when you leave this world(die); Eternal life is in the son; when you know the Father and His son, you start accessing eternal life! It's more than what we hear, "life after death"; it's the God-kind of life which you and I have in us because we believe on the son!

Tell you what? Some of us have started to enjoy heaven now while we are still on earth because God's life is in us (Eternal life); because God wants us to enjoy when we are still here so that the world may know how Great our God is! The life that death fears, that sickness flees at the sight of, and the life that darkness has never comprehended! That is the kind of life we live in and by; the life in the name that we access by believing on Christ! The way we get to enjoy this life is simply through Faith.

Before I wrap up, I would just like to share one more scripture in Ephesians 2:8-10 which says," For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.) 

Ohh how I love this portion of scripture! It is so just so deep that one should take time to ponder on it to understand clearly what a great destiny we have in God and how immeasurable and far surpassing is God's mercy and love!

 He sent his Begotten son Jesus Christ wherein we see God's Grace deeply shown; because Grace always gives and doesn't require one to work for! And by you believing in Him, you became saved! This then means that before the son came, you had no ability to do anything good in God's eyes but good news is, now that you have received His son, you have become the righteousness of God through Christ! Glory to God. This means that you are actually good before you do good because in you is the Good one! He is your ability to do good whenever you believe and trust that you are good because of Him in you! For you to do something good in God's eyes its only through believing on His son Jesus Christ. Grow in Faith child of God!

And the only way to walk in the finished works is only by Faith as we learnt in our previous paragraphs; which means you have nothing to do but only to have faith in him! Faith is our work; to stay believing is our work!

Imagine this, that everything you will ever need was already provided through Christ and is ready for us to enjoy; just imagine that! (2 Peter 1:3)
