Yes, you are the reason!

 

Today am going to really be honest with you and trust me by the end of our discussion, you will all be able to attest to the fact that the mind behind our discussion is basically for your benefit.

 

I know you may probably be wondering a lot about what this topic will be about and having questions already popping on your minds like; ‘Why am I the reason? The reason for what?', and many more such questions. But hey, you can be sure that by the time we get to the end of our discussion today, you will be able to see clearly why "you are the reason for everything that happens in your life first and also to the rest of the world in a way!

 

 

 

So yes, today we shall understand how it's not God but you the reason behind what we see manifest in our lives.

 

Our God is a God full of love and mercy. And in His love, we tend to see Him always inviting us to Himself and Him waiting for us to respond to the invitation.

 

 

Human beings have a tendency of blaming others for everything for example; " I could have gotten the job but you didn't give me money for transport to the interview place ", or " I couldn't get to the meeting early because you delayed to pick me up", and so on.

 

And the funny thing is that, most of the times they end up being disappointed and end up with no solution, but good news is that am here today to help us understand what the problem is, which is you!

 

A man who is always waiting for the answers in others will be most disappointed and please don’t get me wrong here, am not saying that don’t expect or believe in anything from people but rather let your expectation begin from God first, as the word says it that " my expectation is from God!''(Psalms 62:5)

 

So my question is, ‘Are you the kind who is always complaining?' And here is our first lesson; ‘When God allows you to see someone's mistakes, this doesn’t give you the right to judge that brother or sister, no; instead God shows you because He actually wants you to pray for this person or that God wants to teach you something so that you may not fall into the same trap, but His intension is never for you to judge them!

 

You are what you want! How and why do I say this? Let's start this way; God has given us His word and His Spirit!

 

In the book of Hebrews 4:12 which reads that, “Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart", shows us something beautiful; the power of the word which God has blessed you with and has actually placed in you!

 

What does this tell us? The first reason why you and I are the reason for everything we see manifest in our lives! As a believer, God has given us the ability to choose what we want to see in our lives by the power of the word of God!

 

In other words, as a believer you got no excuse at all to simply go wherever life leads you, no; it's no longer the saying, "Que sera sera!", meaning that "what shall be shall be".

 

There is nothing like, “it’s His fate" to die at an early age due to a sickness or even due to a fatal accident for us who are one with God! This is the actual reason why God gave us His word, to create; the life we want to see, have the job we want to have, have the family we want to have and so on!

 

Infact, in the book of 2 Corinthians 6:12, we learn the smallness we feel in our lives or the small lives we tend to live are not because that we are the reason/cause for that smallness we feel in our lives! We are the ones who allow that to happen; when God said in John that we have the keys the keys to loosen things on earth and the same happens in heaven and that whatsoever we lock on earth the same shall also be in heaven! This alone proves that we are in charge and responsible for everything that happens to us!

 

We have no excuse at all! God gave us His word, the very same word He used to create the world we live in and all creatures and all and then He decided to give it to us as our heritage; why? Because we became one with God the day we received Christ in our lives, and He saw that there was no reason for Him to keep us from the right to use His word after all!

 

We therefore learn by this that firstly we are the reason for the things we see happen in our lives because we can choose to change things by the word of God and have what the word approves of manifest in our lives!

 

If you see poverty lines threatening to cross your borders as a child of God you are allowed to boldly reject that and confess what you know is your portion by the word of God after having believed in it as truth from God, and actually have it happen to you!

 

Why? Because you have the right to use the word of God as God used it to create the world, to frame your world too and have it painted with the truths availed you by the word as a son of daughter of God indeed!

 

The other reason why we are the reason or responsible for what happens in our lives is because God gave us His spirit! His spirit in us is what empowers the word we speak.

 

It is the Spirit who makes us powerful; when we declare a thing that the word of God allows us to possess the Spirit avails power and life for those words to sound as truth in the spiritual realm.

 

This is the confidence we carry that we can actually change things and have things be as we want them too as long as they are backed up by the word! And we know that we have the Holy spirit because by the word in Ephesians 1:13, we learn that we were sealed with the spirit of God by Christ the day we received Christ in our lives!

 

So it's not a guessing thing, it's something we are sure of by the word of God that we possess or carry in our lives the Holy Spirit of God!

 

If you still can just sit there and allow just everything that comes in your life to rule your fate and destiny, then friends you just got "you" to blame; not your parents but you; not your boss but you; not your landlord but you; yes, you got you to blame as a child of God Who God is even not ashamed to call God (Psalms 82:6); because we share in righteousness; because we are one!

 

Friends, concluding I would say this that; it's high time we stopped blaming everybody else but us, everything else but us and all that!

 

Pick up yourself and realize what you became the day you received Christ in your life, and after understanding that by the word of God, learn to take responsibility for each word /confession you make upon your life; the things you choose to believe in and accept in your life!

 

Only allow what is acceptable and perfectly yours by the knowledge of the Word and Begin to walk and think therein!

 

Those are the things that will begin to show/ manifest in your life because you have given them life by simply believing in them!

 

Today, understand that you are the reason for it all! And choose wisely hereafter how you want to live like as according to what's given you in the word of God and take a hold of it; believe in it and by that, you will be simply agreeing with God that that thing is what you wanna see in your life you are allowed to create by the word; you will be framing your world by the word actually and then only will you see your life in the beauty that God has aimed it for!
