What you became I

The bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17,"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Friends, today we are going to discuss about something really beautiful. Lemme start this way, what happened to you when you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior?

In 2 Corinthians 8:9 NIV which reads , " For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." Oh Glory to God!

Here is one of the things that happen to every believer the day they become born again. Brethren, believe me this is so liberating if you come to grasp it (Lambano). 

Firstly , understand this from 2Corinthians 5:17 that when a man gets born again they become a new creature; the old you is gone , behold all is become new ! 

One must understand that there the man you were before receiving Christ in your life is totally gone and different from the one you became after receiving Christ as your Lord and savior! This is the mindset that gives you the ability to walk in the precious promises and truths that you inherit as a result of receiving Christ.

One of these truths is that "though our Lord was rich yet for our sake he became poor". Question is , why did he become poor? It was so that you and I may acknowledge, become and walk in the truth that we are Rich!

Brethren , if you really know what our Lord had to go through just so he could humble himself even to the death of the cross, you could start taking your life of salvation seriously .

We take our life in Christ  seriously by living every word he says to us! Child of God you have no business living in poverty because Christ became your poverty so that you may become his " Richness " 

Listen,when you became born again,you became one with the Lord. You took his form and His life in yours. You can't be living like your old self. 

You can't walk in poverty anymore. Refuse to be poor child of God , poverty has no traces in your life any more because there is nothing to relate to; the old self is passed away, behold you are new !

If anything simply receive what Christ accomplished for you when he came on earth;that is why he was able to give only because He had understood the richness he carries.

This is why child of God, it is so difficult for a man to give from the heart of hearts when they haven't understood what Christ did for you and why he was able to do that. He understood that He had too much and thus was able to give Himself the greatest sacrifice.

And please,let this be on your mind every moment. (Proverbs 23:7).

Also as we find in Acts 20:35 which says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive", let giving be our nature and let it be even as our Lord taught us . But to do this , we need to understood who we became as a result of receiving Christ, that we took on the form of Christ's richness and we are no more known according to the flesh. 

Just wake up and smell the coffee! There is just a lot for you to enjoy walking in as the child of the most high God 🙌
