Vision By His Presence
Apostle Grace Lubega
Exodus 24:15-17(KJV); And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. And the glory of the Lord abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.
The presence of God in our individual lives varies in its manifestation. There are people who worship, study and live from a deeper presence than others.
The level of the manifestation of the presence of God in your life determines your vision in the things of the Spirit.
For example, look at the distinction between the vision of Moses and the vision of the children of Israel.
Moses was a man to whom God spoke face to face(Numbers 12:8). He enjoyed deep and intense levels of the presence of God. This intensity was not the same as that which the children of Israel experienced. In fact, when it came to invitations into the presence of God, the children of Israel were instructed to remain at the foot of the mountain while Moses was invited to come close(Exodus 24:2). Consequently, His vision varied greatly from that of the children of Israel.
In demonstrating these differences in vision, our theme scripture reveals that to Moses, the glory of God was a cloud that covered the mountain and enveloped him. To the children of Israel, the same glory was a devouring fire. Moses saw that which invites, embraces and covers. The children of Israel saw that which is capable of destroying. He saw a God extending Himself in love because you cannot behold God face to face and not behold love; they saw a God who could punish and consume because men at a distance from God tend to only behold the hand of judgment.
God wants to plunge you into deeper realms of His presence in order to elevate your vision. He wants you to experience Him more so that you may understand that He is constantly inviting, embracing and covering us.
His name be praised!

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I receive it and embrace its truth. Thank You for deeper levels of intimacy and thank You for elevated vision. I see, not as mere men see, I see as a man who beholds the very countenance of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
