Faith comes by the Word.

It is through the word that we get to know and understand God. 

The word takes away the unbelief from your heart; as you know more of the Word,  your heart is cleared and you can freely believe God as He is by the power and ability of the word!

 "Hebrews 3:7-8 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:"

Without faith it's impossible to please God!

Therefore the opposite of FAITH is unbelief. Meaning with unbelief you can't please God.

This is why in our theme scripture, men are warned not to harden their hearts in unbelief when they hear the word of God.

When the word of God comes to you child of God, do not set your heart in unbelief; do not doubt His word to you a single bit.

Always be ready to trust God always and take Him at His word. 

For the word of God carries its own inherent power; the ability to perform all that it says it does.

Don't first weigh the word to see if it will work or not, no! It has already been proven. Even the earth itself bears record that it does.

For by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.

A heart is hardened by unbelief; not being able to trust freely what God tells you because you don't know Him well!

What kills unbelief is the knowledge of God! The more you fellowship with the word the more you know God; and as you get to know Him more , you will find yourself trusting Him more than anything or anyone else. 

Don't ask God to make you believe Him more; know more of His Word, be more conscious of His Word!
