The Responsibility of the Husband and Wife in Christ.

There is a way a husband was created and set up by God to be and there is a way a wife was designed by God to be.

These two distinctive patterns in the lives of the two will make them react differently and respond differently to life. 

The best thing for both the man and the wife is to get into God and seek to understand their part in the matter.

 “Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:33‬ ‭KJV

It is in the responsibility of a husband to love his wife even as himself;that's what Christ did for the church. For Christ is the head of the church even as a husband is the head of his wife

Christ loved the world so much that He gave Himself away for us to be reconciled back to the Father. 

The Love that Christ loves us is the very love with which He loves Himself; when you love yourself you do all you can to have and access more life and live it more abundantly , and guess what? That's exactly what our Lord did for us at the Cross!

He laid down His life so that we may have abundant life and live it more abundantly; this is the example He gave us to live by. 

No man that truly loves themselves that doesn't lay down his life; in fact no man that loves their life will keep it, but rather they will lay it down. 

For unless a corn of wheat falls into the ground , it won't bear much fruit. So for you to have more of this life , you will have to first lose it.

Christ gave us an example of how a husband ought to love his wife in the the end so that the wife may be able to reverence him.

It's not a husband's responsibility to force their wife to reverence them; no . It's rather that as you continue to love your wife more and more with the very love that Christ loves the church, the wife ends up reverencing you .

It's the revelation the wife receives as they observe the way you love them,that brings the true reverence that deserves to be given them; because a wife is designed by God in such a way that the art of reverencing their husband comes so naturally.

So as a Godly husband your work is to show and give love to your wife even as Christ loves the Church and it will be so natural for your wife to reverence you as it ought to be.

And as a Godly woman, your work is to reverence your husband ( giving them the honor they do) even as the Church reverences Christ their head.

Because Christ so loved the church and laid down His life for her bride, it became easy for the church to reverence their Lord!

Husbands do your part as rightfully required of the Lord to do, and wives yield to Christ in you to be able to reverence your husbands even as it is required of you to do by Christ!
