The Esau Syndrome

This syndrome is very common among many believers. 

To choose men's idea over God's idea is something that many believers do because their relationship with God is not full grown.

Because you can't taste God and stay normal

Hebrews 12:16 Watch out for the Esau syndrome: trading away God's lifelong gift in order to satisfy a short-term appetite.

The many conflicts and trouble many Christians land themselves into is mostly because of one thing.

It will always be true that at one point in their lives they traded the Esau way!

What do I mean here ? At one point in their lives they let loose and allowed to go the way which was never God's idea in the first place.

In other words, you child of God reached a point and turned a deaf ear to the voice of the Spirit of God and allowed a little compromise.

How ,you ask? 

It may have been an issue of disease for example; and at this one point you accepted the report of the doctor as your final report when He told you that you had six months to live; and thus since then started looking at yourself as a dead man, on their way to the grave .

But really, what report does God have for you child of God, before taking the doctor's report as final?

God tells you in His word in 1 Peter 2:24  that ,"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." 

By this alone we understand God's mind regarding our health. 

So child of God, you don't even need to first receive some special message from God or even any man of God to know that you were healed, no!

It's a matter of believing. Only believe that because He told you that by His stripes you were healed, it is so! 

That regardless the fact that you still see no change in your physical body , child of God, you were Healed period!

You don't need to use logic to understand God's mind pertaining His Word to you; only take Him at His word.

For whoever comes to God must firstly believe that He is! 

He is !

What He has promised you in His word is "so".

Choose to believe Him as your personal Truth; let nothing else define you save the Word.

If God has told you that you will lend to nations , why do you still plan small child of God?

You live like you are surviving on people's mercies yet you are supposed to be lending to nations!

You act like all your hope is on that job and that you even could risk losing your relationship with your God if it means saving your job, WOW!

Who really is God to you , child of God that you can trade Him for short fixes in life just like that ?

What does He mean to you?

Get to understand your God more intimately, and be delivered.

You can never trade your relationship with God for anything in this world when you have understood really the Price of God in your life!

You could lose anything else just to keep Him if that's what it takes because you have come to the knowledge of Him.

You really know who He is to you!

Take time to understand this God you claim to serve; for it's the only way you will never fall in the trap of the Esau Syndrome.

You will always be will to spend and be spent for this God, because you know His price to you!
