The Price Of Heeding To Instruction.

Obeying the instructions of God will benefit you the more. It will save you from many losses!

Numbers 20:8 "Take the staff. Assemble the community, you and your brother Aaron. Speak to that rock that's right in front of them and it will give water. You will bring water out of the rock for them; congregation and cattle will both drink."

Heeding to the instruction of God is a very important thing yet very hard to do at times.

It's not that some people are too powerful that for them heeding to the instruction(s) of God is so easy, but rather it's that some people are able to yield more to the amazing Grace of God to cause them to heed to the voice of instruction and go on and be able to actually follow on.

Our theme scripture shows us one very instance where we are able to learn exactly the cost of listening to instruction and actually heeding to it(obeying).

We learn how just missing a simple instruction costed Moses and Aron the opportunity of actually crossing into the promised land with the people of God.

The very people who God had given him to lead into the promised land. How sad this was? To see that after having begun the journey with them he was not able to go on with them because he couldn't heed to just one instruction yet he was a great man of God.

This friends teaches us a lot.That as we continue our walk with Christ, we should never allow anything to lighten the voice of God to us; be it anger issues or any other character issue we may be having. 

We should never let go off the wonderful Grace of our Lord that is always available to enable us to hear and obey the voice of our Lord.

Let's never get used to the voice of instruction. For our God is a God who dislikes familiarity of any sort. And thus desires that we obey Him as He rightfully deserves.

No matter how far you may be with your God in your relationship, never ever for one time take His instruction to you for granted.

Regardless His simplicity, never take Him for granted. Continue to give Him the honor and respect He deserves.

Understand that He is still your maker. 

Regardless any issues you may be battling with, always consider His place in your life and chose to control yourself in order not to in anyway miss the voice of instruction.

It can cost you your whole life ; so choose to concentrate on what can grow your relationship with God.

Respect and pay attention to the voice of God. 

Always choose to obey the voice of God. Your life will always be fruitful and an ensample for men to learn from!
